Education: M.A. in Expressive Therapy from Lesley University in Boston, MA.  Bachelors of Arts in Dance from San Jose State University in CA.

Professional Background/Experience: Chief Operating Officer of Au Pair Adventures, a small, group adventure travel company that was started in 2010 with a vision to offer a cost effective, safe, and efficient way for young adults to travel within the magic of a group dynamic to see and experience a lot in a short amount of time.  Au Pair Adventures has fine-tuned their tours to appeal to a specific type of traveler looking for adventure in specific regions of the USA including the West Coast, Southwest, and Hawaii.  Emily was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California and hopes to inspire Au Pair to get out and experience all the U.S. has to offer.

What you love most about being an au pair instructor?
The energy and enthusiasm the au pair’s bring to each class.  I enjoy hearing about the adventures they have already experienced and I love having the opportunity to introduce them to places they have never heard of before, inspiring them to get out there and explore and helping them start making plans for their travel month.

Fun facts: Emily was an International Elite Gymnast went on to do gymnastics for San Jose State University.  She is married and has two crazy kiddos.
